Situated in the north of The Island, this project formed part of a major refurbishment programme at one of the island’s premier spa and beauty retreats. GRQ was invited to participate in a competitive tender process to design, supply and erect a dedicated services building to house the specialist equipment required to operate the facility’s sauna, pool and spa systems.
Following a rigorous evaluation process, GRQ was selected to deliver the project and successfully supplied the building within a challenging programme schedule. Construction was delivered in collaboration with our approved partners EG Services, who carried out the site preparation, groundworks and erection of the structure.
The rapid delivery of the structure enabled specialist spa and pool equipment contractors to commence their installation works without delay, helping ensure the facility was ready to reopen on time.
The completed building comprises a compact but highly functional 2.5m x 4.5m dual-pitch structure with a 2.5m eaves height. Finished in Goosewing Grey 40mm Kingspan insulated panels, the unit provides a secure and insulated environment for housing essential plant and utility equipment. Delivered on time and to the client’s requirements, the project demonstrates GRQ’s ability to provide tailored building solutions within demanding construction programme schedules.

Design & Groundworks
Following a competitive tender process, GRQ developed a bespoke services building solution designed to house the specialist pool, spa and sauna equipment required for a wider refurbishment project. Groundworks and site preparations were completed to ensure the project remained on programme
Steel Frame Erection
The bespoke steel frame was manufactured, delivered and erected within a compressed project timescale of 6 weeks. Careful coordination ensured the structure was installed efficiently, allowing follow-on trades to begin work as quickly as possible.
Cladding & Completion
The final phase included the installation of Goosewing Grey 40mm Kingspan insulated panels and completion of all finishing works. The building was commissioned and handed over on schedule, enabling specialist equipment installers to complete the final stages of the spa refurbishment ahead of reopening.
