Steel Buildings

Before your steel building is manufactured several tried and trusted steps must be followed.

First and foremost we put you and your requirements at the very centre of the design process and discuss your initial specification for your bespoke building. This includes the location of the intended structure and will take into account wind speed, coastal position, and other climate/location-specific factors to ensure the final product meets expectations. Secondly, we discuss the usage model and any specific renewable/energy efficiency objectives you may have for the building along with its overall size including width, length, eaves height, and roof pitch.
The cladding type, colour, and insulation thicknesses for the roof and walls can then be agreed upon and whether any block work will be used for the lower section of the building and to what dado height. It is at this point any openings such as public access doors, roller shutter doors, roof lights, and window openings are identified and agreed upon.

Armed with the above information the specification is committed to our CAD design system and preliminary drawings and initial outline costings are created for the first review. The review process can then commence and once any/all changes are captured a final building specification including a final costing is created and a complete set of general arrangement drawings and building calculations are made available after receipt of order.

A 25% deposit is then due on receipt of the order with the balance payable 6-8 weeks later when the kit is manufactured and ready for delivery.

Mezzanine Floors

Unlike any other supplier in this segment, Davicon design and manufacture all of its floors in-house. In fact, they have the largest dedicated mezzanine floor production facility in the UK, so you can be confident of consistently high quality, swift lead times and competitive pricing.

We only require a detailed drawing (with dimensions) and/or a .dwg file and we can provide a quotation within 24 hours.
